Google is adding a number of new features to Chrome 69 as the company celebrates 10th anniversary of Chrome browser. Chrome grew significantly over the years despite the competition and surpassed Internet Explorer in 2013. It went on to held over 50% share in the market in 2015. Currently, Google’s browser holds 68% share as of July this year. With the 10th anniversary edition, Google is bringing support for CSS Scroll Snap, display cutouts, web locks API and more to the Chrome 69. Support for CSS Scroll Snap will allow developers to create smooth and slick scroll experiences. This feature will be helpful for image carousels and paginated sections where the users want to scroll to a specific point.
